"Anno 1800" awarded the German Computer Game Prize - GENUIN produced the orchestra soundtrack
28.4.2020: The game "Anno 1800" by Ubisoft Mainz was awarded the German Computer Game Award as the best German game. The game was awarded on Monday evening during a digital gala, presented by Barbara Schöneberger and Nino Kerl. Andreas Scheuer, Minister of Transportation, also gave his assessment of Anno 1800 via live broadcast: He praised the "charm of nostalgia" of the build-up strategy game. The elaborately produced orchestra soundtrack of the game was supervised by GENUIN together with Dynamedion and the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt.
This is not the first award for Ubisoft's computer game: In December it already received the German Developer Award. The German Computer Game Award is hosted by the industry association game and is endowed with prize money of 100,000 euros.
