Joë Christophe wins the 2018 ARD Music Competition and GENUIN Special Prize
25.9.2019: The winners of this year's ARD Music Competition have been announced. From 2 to 20 September 2019, the jury selected the best musicians in the subjects bassoon, violoncello, clarinet and percussion. A first prize was awarded in three of the four categories. There were also six second and three third prizes. Numerous special prizes and scholarships were also awarded. These include the GENUIN Special Prize, which this year goes to Joë Christophe, first prize winner in the clarinet category - personally selected by the GENUIN sound masters. The young clarinettist will thus receive support for a CD production which is expected to be released by GENUIN classics in autumn 2020.
