Johanna Stier
Johanna Stier has been the principal oboist for the NDR Radiophilharmonie in Hanover since 2019. Prior to that, she had a two-year engagement as a member of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester and played as a guest with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam.

She gained orchestral experience at the beginning of her career with the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra and as an academy member of the Bamberg Symphony. In addition to her orchestral activities, Johanna Stier performs as a soloist and is a passionate chamber musician, especially with the award-winning Monet Quintet.

Born in Munich, Johanna Stier was a junior student at the local Hochschule für Musik und Theater. She then studied with Klaus Becker, Christian Schmitt and Kai Frömbgen. Oboists Christoph Hartmann and Ivan Podyomov also played a formative role in her artistic development.


Anissa Baniahmad
Anissa Baniahmad received her first flute lessons at the age of 9. At 14, she started taking lessons with Paul Dahme at Dr. Hoch’s Konservatorium in Frankfurt am Main, where she also began her studies under Stephanie Winker at the Musikhochschule. After an Erasmus year at the Conservatoire de Paris with Philippe Bernold, she went on to earn her master’s degree at the Berlin University of the Arts under Christina Fassbender.

Over the course of her musical career, Annissa Baniahmad was awarded several prestigious prizes and scholarships. She is particularly fond of chamber music. Since 2014, she has played in the Monet Quintet, and regularly performs with guitarist Jesse Flowers as Duo Revelio.

Over the last few years, she has also invested more time into her pedagogical work. In addition to giving lessons to her private students, she has been invited to teach at international master classes, including those held in Montefrío, Spain. After being engaged as the solo flutist with the Symphoniker Hamburg for the 2019/20 season, she currently holds the same position with the Nationaltheater Mannheim.

Nemorino Scheliga
Nemorino Scheliga, born in 1995, began studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart under Norbert Kaiser in 2013. He has won numerous competitions, including first prize at the 2018 International Danube Music Competition. As a soloist, he has performed with the Dortmunder Philharmoniker, the Mannheimer Mozartorchester and the dogma chamber orchestra, among others. Invitations have led him to play at such festivals as the DAVOS FESTIVAL and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival.

He is a member of the Monet Quintet, founded in 2013, which received awards at the 2016 and 2019 Deutscher Musikwettbewerb and the 2017 Lyon International Chamber Music Competition. The Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz, the Mozart Gesellschaft Dortmund and the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes have awarded him with grants and scholarships. From 2016 to 2019 he was the principal clarinetist in the Staatsorchester Stuttgart. Since 2022 he has been the deputy principal clarinetist for the Bochumer Symphoniker.

Marc Gruber
Marc Christian Gruber, born in 1993, received his musical training most notably from Joachim Pöltl in Düsseldorf, Paul van Zelm in Cologne and Saar Berger in Trossingen. 30 He has won multiple prizes at the Jugend Musiziert competition. In 2016 he was awarded second prize at the ARD International Music Competition, as well as the audience award in the horn category. As a soloist, he has performed with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker and the Württembergische Kammerphilharmonie Reutlingen, with whom he released his solo debut CD in 2014.

In the field of chamber music, Marc Gruber has partnered prominent ensembles and soloists at international festivals. With the Monet Quintet, he was awarded the 2016 Deutscher Musikwettbewerb’s grant and special prize. Additionally, he won 3rd prize at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition with the same quintet in 2017. For two years, he was the principal horn player in the Beethoven Orchester Bonn, and since 2016 he has held this position at the hr-Sinfonieorchester in Frankfurt. Other engagements include playing with the WDR Sinfonieorchester, the Hilversum Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and the Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam.
