At only twenty-five, Joë Christophe brilliantly won the first prize as well as six special prizes at the famous ARD International Music Competition in Munich in 2019. He has already been invited by many orchestras and festivals to perform in Europe’s most prestigious halls.

Award-winner of the Festival Musical dʼAutomne des Jeunes Interprètes 2017 and the Fondation Safran 2018, first prize at the Cluj International Music Competition (Romania) in 2019, he graduated with honours in 2020 from the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in the classes of Philippe Berrod and Arnaud Leroy.

Joë Christophe performs as a soloist with such renowned orchestras as the Münchner Kammerorchester and Münchner Rundfunkorchester, Collegium Musicum Basel, Orchestre de l'Opéra de Toulon, and Orchestre de la Garde républicaine.

Featuring in the famous program Stars von Morgen in 2020, hosted by Rolando Villazón, Joë Christophe is also participating in the 2021 programme Debüt on the German public radio station Deutschlandfunk Kultur with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin alongside conductor Elena Schwarz.

He has had the opportunity to work with great conductors like David Zinmann, Alain Altinoglu, and Sir Simon Rattle.

Alongside his career as a classical musician, Joë Christophe takes a great interest in playing various musical genres such as jazz, contemporary music or, with the famous Sirba Octet ensemble, traditional music.
