Vladimir Bukac is among the generation of musicians to have emerged from the outstanding teaching legacy of Nora Grumlikova. He was already the winner of the “Beethovenuv Hradec” Competition during his studies and thanks to a generous scholarship was able to study with Wolfgang Marschner at the Freiburg Musikhochschule (Germany). In 1990 he traveled to Japan to perform in concert, remaining there for three years to perform at the leading concert venues and music festivals. Vladimir Bukac has been a violinist and then violist in the Talich Quartet of Prague since 1993 and regularly appears in recital performances with this quartet all over Europe, Japan and America. Vladimir Bukac is a visiting professor at the Music Conservatory in Utrecht, The Netherlands and at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris.
