Henriette Gödde studied with Christiane Junghanns at the Hochschule für Musik Dresden and graduated from the Lied and Concert masterclass with distinction. She received particularly significant inspiration in the lied genre from Olaf Bär.
Henriette Gödde has established herself as a concert singer on national and international stages, and the young alto has been heard at festivals such as the Bach Festival Dresden, the Handel Festival Halle, the Dresden Music Festival, and the IMPULS Festival as well as on international stages such as the Berlioz Festival in La Côte-Saint-André, the Auditorium Lyon, and the Megaron Athens.
Invitations from renowned orchestras and ensembles including the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Dresden Philharmonic, ensemble frauenkirche dresden (Matthias Grünert), Ensemble Modern (Kent Nagano), Gaechinger Cantorey (Hans-Christoph Rademann), Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra (Ulf Schirmer), Orchestre National de Lyon (Leonard Slatkin), Radio Filharmonisch Orkest der Niederlande (Jaap van Zweeden), RIAS Chamber Choir Berlin (Justin Doyle), Athens State Orchestra (Christoph Poppen), Stiftsbarock Stuttgart (Kay Johannsen), and Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra (Riccardo Muti) enrich her artistic work.
In addition to her concert career, Gödde frequently performs on numerous European opera stages. She was most recently seen at the St. Margarethen Opera Festival. Further engagements have taken her to the Leipzig Opera, the Magdeburg Theater, the Halle Opera, the German National Theater in Weimar, the Salzburg Festival, and the Erfurt Theater. A number of CD recordings attest to her versatility.
Henriette Gödde feels particularly connected to the lied genre. She is a First Prizewinner of the International Robert Schumann Competition. Further appreciation of her work is testified by Second Prize at the German National Singing Competition and First Prize at the Concorso Internazionale Musica Sacra Rome.
