Tenor Michael Porter is a member of the ensemble of the Frankfurt Opera, where he has already appeared in major roles of his voice type, including Mozart’s Ferrando, Don Ottavio, and Tamino as well as Britten’s Lysander and Wagner’s Steersman. Guest engagements have taken him to the Salzburg Festival, Milan’s La Scala, the Semperoper Dresden, and the Bavarian and Berlin state operas.

The American-born musician is also devoted to the concert and lied repertoire, singing the Evangelist in the St Matthew Passion in an ORF production and celebrating great success with his lied recital at the Frankfurt Opera.
