No less than 8 GENUIN recordings nominated for ICMA 2020

GENUIN is well received worldwide: A total of eight GENUIN recordings have been nominated for the International Classic Music Award (ICMA). This time, the international jury has nominated eight recordings by the following GENUIN artists: Cicerone Ensemble, Eva Resch & Eric Schneider, Benedikt Kristjánsson & Alexander Schmalcz & Tillmann Höfs, Nuron Mukumi, Maria Kliegel & Oliver Triendl, Duo Brüggen-Plank, Benedict Kloeckner & Danae Dörken, Ensemble LUX:NM.

The International Classical Music Awards are presented in a total of 24 categories and are the only international prizes for classical CDs and DVDs worldwide. This year, the jury nominated a total of 390 audio and video productions from 130 labels. The 21-member jury consists of chief editors of the most important European music magazines, radio stations and online portals.

The final ICMA winners will be announced on 21 January 2020. The winners will be honoured with a ceremony and a gala concert on 30 April 2020 at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville with the Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville conducted by John Axelrod.
