After GENUIN had been nominated with two CDs for the LEOPOLD Media Prize "Good Music for Children", the certificates for the two GENUIN CDs were presented to our sound engineer and label co-owner Michael Silberhorn at the awards ceremony in Cologne:

A Symphonic Fairy Tale for Speaker and Orchestra by Roland Fister based on the novel by Lewis Carroll

Both CDs were nominated in the category "CD - For the whole family".
The CDs may advertise with the rating "Recommended by the Association of German Music Schools" and are thus on the list of recommended audio media of the Association of German Music Schools (VdM).

Every two years since 1997, the Association of German Music Schools (VdM), supported by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, has awarded prizes to particularly successful music recording media for children. Other LEOPOLD partners are Kulturradio WDR3, Initiative Hören and, since 2018, the App Music Research Centre of the Berlin University of the Arts.
