Heinz Holliger and Felix Renggli are Guests at the Salzburg Festival 2012

The conductor and composer Heinz Holliger and the flutist Felix Renggli will perform together on Sunday, 5 August at the Salzburg Festival. As part of the series "Salzburg Contemporary," Heinz Holliger will conduct his Scardanelli Cycle (1975-1985) for solo flute, small orchestra, tape and mixed choir (1975-1985), in which he sets poems by Friedrich Hölderlin (1770-1843).

The concert will take place on 5 August starting at 8:30 PM at the Kollegienkirche in Salzburg. A recording will be broadcast by ORF Radio on Tuesday, 7 August, at 11:03 PM on Ö1.
