Daniel Behle studied voice with, among others, his mother, mezzo-soprano Renate Behle. He is an internationally successful tenor. His repertoire extends from masterpieces of the Baroque to Classical and Romantic repertoire all the way to New Music of the 20th and 21st centuries. After recording many song recital CDs, he is now making a name for himself as a composer. An important work in his compositional oeuvre is the arrangement of Schubert’s Winterreise for tenor and piano trio published in early 2015 together with the Oliver Schnyder Trio.
