Christian Lampert

Christian Lampert studied horn with Francesco Raselli in Basel, Mahir Cakar in Stuttgart and Prof. Erich Penzel in Cologne. He received a scholar-ship from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes and has won awards at competitions in Germany and abroad, including the International Instrumental Competition in Markneukirch-en and the German Music Competition in Bonn.

He was principal horn of the Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester, the Radio-Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt and the Orchester der Bayreuther Festspiele. In addition to performing as a soloist, Christian Lampert also frequently appears in chamber music recitals and has performed with various well-known ensembles. He is horn professor at the Musikakademie Basel and at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart.
