Andreas Frese

Pianist Andreas Frese initially studied piano with Ria Goetze at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf. His affinity for voice, trained among other places in Limburg as a member of the Limburg Cathedral boys choir, intensive study of chamber music, and an additional degree in literature and musicology ultimately led to his study of song performance in the master class of Irwin Gage and Esther de Bros in Zurich.

Andreas Frese received further positive stimulus for his work as an accompanist in master classes with Christoph Prégardien, Matthias Goerne, Edith Wiens, Johannes Goritzki and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. In 2002 Andreas Frese received a scholarship from the Richard-Wagner-Verband.

Much in demand as a partner for singers and instrumentalists, Andreas Frese performed in concerts in Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, England, France, Slovenia and in Germany at such venues as the Usedom Music Festival, in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Dresden, Essen and Munich, as well as various radio and television stations.
