TOUTES SUITES: MUSIC FROM PAGE TO STAGE
was founded by Marianne R. Pfau in Southern California. The ensemble restores music in its original context, such as Telemann’s “Der getreue Music-Meister: A Musical Journal” (Hamburg: virtilia, 2007), and offers unpublished or unrecorded 18th century music for hautbois (baroque oboe) in concert and on CD. We have included women com-posers Marianna Martines, Anna Bon, Mrs. Philharmonica, and Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, and have premiered works by Fasch, Krebs, Homilius and Linike.
